Local solutions already exist. Resources don't always reach them.
Across communities, local organizations are responding to challenges with knowledge, commitment, and solutions rooted in the places they serve. Yet many lack access to the funding, systems, technical support, and partnerships needed to grow their impact.
Local Impact Bridge Foundation exists to help bridge that gap.
We connect locally led organizations with resources, strengthen organizational capacity, and support community-driven solutions in the United States and internationally.
Local leadership comes first.
We begin with the priorities, knowledge, and solutions already present within communities. LIBF helps strengthen the organizations behind those solutions and build bridges to financial resources, technical expertise, and strategic partnerships.
Our approach is simple: we listen to local priorities, strengthen organizations, connect them with resources and expertise, and help locally led solutions grow.
Rooted locally. Connected globally.
LIBF is based in Ohio and works with locally led organizations and communities in the United States and internationally. Our early international engagement is focused on building relationships and identifying community-led opportunities in the United States and Jordan.
Built on experience. Designed for local leadership.
Areej Al Majali — Founder & President
Local Impact Bridge Foundation was founded by Areej Al Majali following more than 15 years of work across international development, grants, governance, compliance, and organizational strengthening. That experience revealed a recurring gap: strong local organizations often have the ideas, relationships, and commitment to create change, but not equal access to the resources and networks that can help their solutions grow.
LIBF was created to help bridge that gap.
Local leadership. Responsible stewardship. Transparent partnerships.
LIBF is committed to responsible grantmaking, strong financial stewardship, partner due diligence, safeguarding, and transparent use of charitable resources.
We welcome conversations with community organizations, philanthropic partners, and individuals who share our commitment to locally led development.
